Houston Area Pastor Council had an opportunity to host a special luncheon briefing on June 15 at the historic Station 3 featuring Pastor and Congressman Javier Padilla from the nation of Peru. Pastor/Congressman Padilla shared his story of why he ran, the challenges they face in that nation against many of the same socialist and communist forces active in the United States now. He was accompanied by Pastor Jorge Aravelo, also from Peru, They both challenged pastors here to pray for the pastors of Peru as well as to stand strong in defending our freedom in this country.
