The mission of the Houston Area Pastor Council is to empower pastors and their congregations across racial and denominational lines to impact the culture and government through concerted prayer, to equip our congregations for effective citizenship and to provide a unified voice on spiritual, cultural, social and moral issues.

Executive Committee

The HAPC Executive Commmittee is the body of pastors who have committed to serving as an oversight body for operational and strategic decisions of the organization.  The current team is listed under Pastoral Leadership and the criteria for involvement at this level can be found by clicking here.

general council

The HAPC General Council is comprised of every senior pastor who has made a commitment to participate according to the membership criteria approved by the Executive Committee.  We have no Doctrinal or Theological requirements except that the pastor and church be a Biblically-grounded Christian pastor and church who agree that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant word of God - and is the "Operater's Manual" for every sphere of a believer's life!  There are currently over 100 pastors on the General Council of the HAPC.
